I’m a computer science student at Sussex University, Brighton, UK. When I’m not busy studying computers I’m reading about productivity or new technology, writing plans for world domination or more likely, doing some work for the Brighton Air Cadets.

Who am I?

Find me Elsewhere

At the moment there are a few pages where you can read about and download the stuff I use in my training at cadets. As I get time, I’ll move my blog over to here and add some stuff about what I’m doing at University.

Please remember that the presentations, lesson plans and documents here are designed for me to use while instructing. I’m a great believer that slides should support an instructor, not replace him. Because of that, many of the presentations will be of little value unless you have some knowledge of the subject concerned.

If you’re looking to get in touch, or see regular updates, you can...

I’ve knocked this site together for two reasons:

  1. 1.I spend quite a bit of my time hacking together web apps in Ruby on Rails or playing with jQuery so I probably ought to have my own site. The observant amongst you will see that this is hardly an example of my finest work, I’ve just got too much else to be getting on with at the moment.

  1. 2. I expect there are a few other instructors in the cadets who’d be interested in the resources I’ve created.

Why the website?

What’s on here?

As well as doing a bunch administration I instruct in various subjects. I’m often found leaping around a whiteboard putting together new schedules of training by or tweaking documents and presentations.

Although I’ve little time for it now, I also play acoustic blues (guitar/harmonica/vocals) and in the past I’ve supported people like Dave Kelly, Paul Jones, Long John Baldry, Keith B. Brown & Martin Simpson.
